TO ALL IN THE UPCSA
It is with deep sadness that I announce that the Rev Dr Alan Maker passed away yesterday afternoon (Monday the 8th of July 2024). May he rest in eternal peace. Revs Botsis and Marchinkowski wrote as follows:
On behalf of his wife, Margie, and his daughters Claire, Sue and Cathy, we are very sad to tell you that Dr. Alan Maker, a former Moderator of the Assembly (1984) and a much-loved colleague, died peacefully yesterday afternoon. When details are to hand concerning memorial services to be held in Hermanus and Johannesburg we will communicate these.

Rev Dr Maker was a minister emeritus within the bounds of the Presbytery of the Western Cape. Please uphold the Maker family in your prayers.
