Bereavements Rex le Roux

Dear Presbytery

We are saddened to share the passing of Rev. Rex le Roux, who went to be with the Lord peacefully on the evening of 12 February at the age of 93.
Before entering the ministry of the UPCSA, Rex had distinguished careers as a land surveyor, advocate, and member of parliament. He went on to serve faithfully as the minister of Crystal Park and as Interim Moderator in several congregations within Tshwane Presbytery. He also played a significant role in the planting of Emmanuel Presbyterian Congregation in Pretoria East, offering his expertise as a land surveyor, barrister, and preacher.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cora, to whom he was married for 68 years, as well as their five children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
The family has requested a private memorial service at the retirement complex where they lived. Further details will be shared once arrangements are finalized.
We give thanks for the life and ministry of this faithful servant of God and uphold his family in our prayers.
Blessings & love
