It is with deepest sadness to announce the passing away of the following:
- Mr Edmund Mkentane, the father of Rev BZ Mkentane, passed away on Saturday, the 25th of February 2023. Rev Mkentane is a minister of EN Bono Memorial Congregation within the Presbytery of Amathole. The family home is at KwaNomadolo location, Ngqeleni within the Presbytery of Mthatha. That is where the funeral will take place. Further details will be shared as and when they become available.
Mr Mkentane was a commissioner to the General Assembly for several years.
- Mrs ELize Larsen, the widow of the late Rev Laurits Larsen, passed away on Sunday, the 26th of February 2023. Elize’s memorial service will be held at the Hill Church, within the Presbytery of Central Cape on Friday 3rd March 2023 at 11am.
Let us please uphold the Mkentane and Larsen families in our prayers. May the departed rest in eternal peace.
