Please receive the correspondence from the Highveld Presbytery conveying, with sadness, the passing on of Mrs Lesley Samson, the wife of the Rev Robert “Bob” Samson. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

It is with great sadness to inform the UPCSA that Mrs Lesley Samson, the wife of Rev Emeritus Robert (Bob) Samson passed away on 8th February 2021. Mrs Samson had just celebrated her 82nd birthday. Mrs and Rev Samson have known each other for over 60 years. 

Mrs Samson will be remembered for her love, care and gentleness in spirit as a wife and mother and her unwavering support in Rev Samson’s ministry. She has been the most excellent mother of three sons, John (he is in the UK), Andrew and Graham and several grandchildren.

Mrs Samson was always known for her faithful walk with Jesus and encouragement to many others to remain faithful to Him. Details regarding her memorial service will be posted in due time.
